Nozawa Onsen, Japan - June 2019: Yakuozan Kenmeiji-Temple, is a sect of Zen Buddhism (Soto-shu) from 1694. The halls that exist today were constructed in 1805 bronze era. Nozawa is a village in the Japanese Alps that has 13 free public hot spring baths scattered throughout the town. Popular as a ski resort in the winter, it is beautiful in the spring as well and great for mountain biking as well as for touring the many Shinto Shrines, and enjoying festivals. (Photo © Ann Summa).
